Wait: Stephenie Meyer published a new part of Twilight

The book about the adventures of a vampire by Edward Cullen spent almost 12 years on the shelf due to the fact that several chapters from the book got on the Web without the author’s permission.

The highly anticipated novel by Stephenie Meyer, a spin-off to the Twilight saga, which was halted in 2008, was finally out of print on August 4.

The book is already topping the top sellers in the US and UK, The Guardian reports.

12 years ago, Mayer scrapped plans to publish a book after 12 chapters of her manuscript were leaked online. After this leak, the writer posted these chapters freely on her website, and postponed the completion of the book indefinitely. In May 2020, the author announced that she plans to finally publish the novel in August.
