According to the press service of the GUNP, the attackers attacked passers-by in the Suvorov district of the city. They «worked» mainly at night. Waiting for a convenient moment, the men knocked the victims down, beat them and took away valuables — wallets, money, gold chains, mobile phones.
The robbers have five crimes.
The perpetrators turned out to be a 26-year-old resident of the Limansky district and a 29-year-old Odessa resident, who were repeatedly convicted for similar crimes. According to the detainees, they immediately sold the stolen goods, and the proceeds were divided equally.
The defendants were informed about the suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 186 (robbery) and part 2 of Art. 187 (robbery). The Odessa citizen is under house arrest, the court changed the measure of restraint to detention for his accomplice, because, sitting at home, he committed another crime.
