A man and two women died at the infectious diseases hospital.
In Odessa, over the past day, three deaths from Covid-19 have been registered in patients with a positive result of the PRC test.
This was reported by the press service of the mayor’s office.
So, an 86-year-old man was taken to an infectious diseases hospital on July 22 with coronavirus disease, bilateral pneumonia and a number of concomitant severe ailments. The patient passed away on 4 August at 14:30.
A 79-year-old woman was admitted to hospital on August 3 with Covid-19, bilateral pneumonia and other comorbidities. The patient was in serious condition and died on 4 August at 19:30.
The third patient was admitted to the infectious diseases clinic on July 24 in a serious condition. She was diagnosed with Covid-19, bilateral pneumonia and related illnesses. The woman died on the night of 5 August.
All three received treatment in accordance with clinical protocols, but due to the severity of their condition, the efforts of doctors aimed at saving their lives were not successful.
