Theft of 37 million at the landfill «Shirokiy Lan»: WACS chose a measure of restraint for two suspects
On Tuesday, August 4, the Supreme Administrative Court chose a measure of restraint for two suspects in the case of abuse in the construction of the landfill «Shirokiy Lan» in the amount of 37 million hryvnias. This was reported by WACS on its Facebook page.
It is noted that the former owner of the company «Rost» was assigned a deposit of 2 million 102 thousand UAH. To his accomplice, the ex-director of «Growth», — 1 million 261 thousand 200 hryvnias.
They are suspected of misappropriating 37 million hryvnias during the construction of the Shirokiy Lan military range.
The suspects are obliged: to arrive at the first request to law enforcement agencies and to the judge, not to leave the place of residence or work without the permission of law enforcement officers, not to contact other participants of the criminal case, to deposit documents entitling to travel abroad.
Restrictions are valid until September 30.

The money was allocated, the work was not performed
Earlier, law enforcement officers reported that three former officials of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and two business representatives were reported as suspicious. According to investigators, in 2017-2018 they organized the reception of works and services for the arrangement of the field camp «Shirokiy Lan» in the village. Ulyanovka of the Nikolaev area.
The money was transferred to the company’s accounts, but in fact no work was carried out on the arrangement. Thus the state was damaged in the amount of more than 37 million hryvnias.

Yesterday WACS appointed a pledge to the ex-chief of the Main Housing and Maintenance Department — 2 million 102 thousand.
