The new head of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia (UZ) Vladimir Zhmak plans to introduce a model of staff motivation at the enterprise by distributing part of the profits among them.
“Motivation of the Ukrzaliznytsia staff is another of my priorities. I propose a clear economic model that will allow the company to perform a certain part of the delta each year — the difference between this year’s and previous financial indicators — to motivate employees, for whom it will be clear to show interest, why it makes sense to work better. I intend to ask the supervisory board to share my vision and make the necessary decisions to implement this model. «, — noted Zhmak.
According to him, he plans to form his own team in the near future and start working.
As reported, the new head of Ukrzaliznytsia wants to divide UZ into four companies and intends to ask the supervisory board to change the corporate structure. He also called for the introduction of a single freight tariff and the privatization of non-core assets.
On August 26, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the candidacy of Volodymyr Zhmak, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Boryspil Airport, as Chairman of the Board of Ukrzaliznytsia JSC (UZ) after supporting his candidacy for this position by the Ukrzaliznytsia Supervisory Board on August 12.
