The Chernihiv club plans to play the qualifying matches of the Champions League at Obolon-Arena, and the matches of the group stage of the Champions League — at the Chernomorets in Odessa.
If Chernihiv’s Desna makes its way to the group stage of the Europa League, the team plans to play its home matches in Odessa, reports Igor Burbas, a journalist with the Football TV channels.
«In case of joining the LE group, Desna will play its home matches in the fall in Odessa. An agreement in principle has been reached between the Chernihiv club and the new owners of the Chernomorets stadium. And the team will qualify in any case at the Obolon Arena, Burbas wrote.
For the round until the end of the championship, «Desna» takes 4th place in the UPL, which will allow them to play in the qualifying league. To reach the Europa League group directly in the last round, Alexander Ryabokon’s team needs to beat Zarya, which has 2 points more.
