On August 20, the Spanish national football team announced the list of players who will be trained in preparation for the upcoming matches of the League of Nations.
The head coach of the team Luis Enrique called 24 players to prepare for the games with Germany and Ukraine, reports press service UAF.
The composition of the Spanish national team:
goalkeepers — David de Gea (Manchester United, England), Capa Arrisabalaga (Chelsea, England), Unai Simon (Atletico);
defenders — Danny Carvajal, Sergio Ramos (both — «Real»), Jesus Navas, Sergio Regilon (both — «Sevilla»), Eric Garcia («Manchester City», England), Pau Torres («Villarreal»), Diego Llorente ( Real Sociedad), Jose Luis Gaia (Valencia);
midfielders — Sergio Busquets («Barcelona»), Rodri («Manchester City»), Fabian Ruiz («Napoli», Italy), Thiago Alcantara («Bavaria», Germany), Mikel Merino («Real Sociedad»), Oscar Rodriguez, Mark Asensio (both Real Madrid), Dani Olmo (Leipzig, Germany), Ferran Torres (Manchester City);
forwards — Adama Traore (Wolverhampton, England), Rodrigo Moreno (Valencia), Mikel Oyarsabal (Real Sociedad), Ansui Fati (Barcelona).
Note that in the Spanish national team there are six newcomers — goalkeeper Simon, defender Garcia, midfielders Merino, Oscar Rodriguez and Ferran Torres, as well as forward Fati.
The training camp of the team in Las Rosas de Madrid will begin on August 31.
On September 3, Spain will meet Germany in Stuttgart, and on September 6 will play with Ukraine in Madrid at the Alfredo di Stefano Stadium. The matches start at 9.45 pm Kyiv time.
