Russia has confirmed preparations for the meeting in the Normandy format
Dmitry Peskov, a spokesman for the Russian president, said that a meeting of aides to the leaders of the «Quartet of Normandy» was being prepared.
«I do not know whether the final date has been agreed or not. I know that the preparations for such a meeting really lasted, contacts took place, « — Peskov told reporters, answering the question whether the meeting of assistants to the heads of state in the «Norman format» will really take place on August 28 in Paris.
He noted that the agenda of the meeting is predictable and will be devoted to the implementation of previously reached agreements.

Negotiations in the «Norman format» on the settlement of Donbass are being held by Ukraine, Germany, France and Russia.
Earlier, journalist Serhiy Garmash, involved in the work of the Tripartite Contact Group for the Settlement of the Donbass (TCG) by Ukraine as a representative of the ORDO, said that a meeting of advisers in the «Norman format» for talks on Donbass could take place on August 28.
According to him, the head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak will take part in the meeting on the Ukrainian side, and the Deputy Head of the Russian Presidential Administration Dmytro Kozak will take part in the meeting on the Russian side.
