Police suspect two minors in Bilyaivka of gross violation of public order | StopCor
Returning home drunk at night, 17-year-old boys broke three fences on one of the city streets.
Three victims immediately complained to the police about the broken reinforced concrete and wooden fences: a 44-year-old mother of five, a 79-year-old pensioner and a 34-year-old man.
By the measures taken, district police officers exposed two local young men from well-to-do families. In their acquittal, the minors explained that the cause of the misconduct was the alcohol they had consumed.
The parents of the offenders, having learned about what their sons had done, took over the compensation for the damage caused to the victims, and have already repaired all the fences. However, this does not release offenders from liability. For the illegal actions of the boys, investigators announced their suspicion under Part 2 of Article 296 (hooliganism) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which provides for restriction of liberty for up to five years or imprisonment for up to four years.
