Convicted of property crimes, citizens of one of the countries of the Caucasus on Ilf and Petrov Street snatched a bag with ten thousand dollars from the hands of an 83-year-old woman and rushed in different directions.
One of the men — 39 years old — jumped into the car in which they arrived and was detained immediately. And his ten-year-old accomplice with money ran in the opposite direction. He was later found in another part of the city and most of the stolen cash was confiscated.
«Investigators qualified the actions of the defendants under Part 4 of Art. 186 of the Criminal code of Ukraine as the robbery committed in the big sizes, — the chief of the Tairovsky police department Sergey Volkov told. — Before election of a measure of restraint they were detained according to Art. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. Men face imprisonment from seven to ten years for what they have done. «
