Law enforcement officers arrested a suspect in the robbery of a minor from Odessa

As a result of the incident, the man was injured and hospitalized.

Today at 8:10 p.m., special line 102 received information that an explosion had taken place on Peremohy Avenue near the entrance to the Shulyavska metro station. Police squads, investigative and operative groups of the Main and District Police Departments, explosives service specialists, cynologists and representatives of other relevant services immediately responded to the call.

It was previously established at the scene that the explosion occurred in a trash can. As a result, one man was injured and hospitalized. The identity of the victim is established.

At the scene, law enforcement officers are conducting a number of necessary priority investigative actions and establishing all the circumstances of the crime. For the safety of explosives, the surrounding area was inspected: no suspicious or dangerous objects were found.

The information gathered on this fact was registered with the Shevchenkivskyi District Police Department. An inspection is carried out, based on the results of which an appropriate procedural decision will be made.

As a result of the explosion, four people were injured. A 22-year-old student was hospitalized from the scene. The other three victims went to the doctors on their own. After examination and assistance, they were released.

The information collected on this fact was entered into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations. The Investigative Department of the Shevchenkivskyi Police Department opened a criminal case under Part 4 of Article 296 (Hooliganism) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. As part of the pre-trial investigation, police are establishing all the circumstances of the incident and the origin of the object that exploded in the trash.
