In the Troieschyna district of the capital, rescuers from the State Emergency Service retrieved the body of a little boy from a pond. Details and causes of the tragic incident are being established by law enforcement agencies.

On August 23, at 5:26 p.m., the operational coordination center of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Kyiv received a report that in the reservoir at vul. Zakrevskoho, 5, in the Desnyansky district of the capital, is the body of a child.
A diving department of the special rescue team was sent to the place of the call. Upon arrival at the scene, the body of a boy was found at a distance of 2 meters from the shore at a depth of 3 meters. Rescuers with the help of diving and rescue equipment brought the boy’s body, apparently about 7-8 years old, ashore and handed it over to law enforcement agencies, and they will establish the causes and circumstances of the tragic accident.
