An explosion occurred on July 17 in Kyiv on Peremohy Avenue near the entrance to the Shulyavska metro station. The man was injured and hospitalized.
This was reported in the National Police of Kyiv, reports «Work».
The police received a report of the incident at 8:10 p.m. Police have previously established that the explosion occurred in a trash can. As a result, one man was injured and hospitalized. The identity of the victim is being established.
Police, blasting specialists, cynologists and representatives of other specialized services are working at the scene. Militiamen establish all circumstances of explosion.
Explosives technicians inspected the surrounding area. No suspicious or dangerous objects were found there.
The Kyiv metro noted that the explosion damaged the windows of the metro station. At the same time, the metro operates in normal mode, and Shulyavska station is open to passengers.
