In Sumy region, a man will be tried for selling psychotropic substances in especially large amounts

Almost 800 policemen were involved in the training. Representatives of local self-government bodies and employees of territorial subdivisions of the State Food and Consumer Service also took part in the inspections. The largest number of violations was recorded by law enforcement officers in Kyiv (19 facts), Sumy (17 facts) and Lviv (11 violations) oblasts.

According to the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of July 8, 2020 № 588, for the period of quarantine from 23:00 to 07:00 the work of entertainment establishments, as well as business entities for the provision of catering services is prohibited. In order to monitor the observance of quarantine restrictions by the owners of entertainment establishments, during July 11 and 12, the police conducted appropriate inspections throughout the country.

A total of 143 establishments were shut down, including 42 nightclubs and 101 catering establishments.

In total, during the training, the police drew up 102 administrative reports, of which 100 — under Art. 44-3 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses (Violation of the rules on quarantine of people), two more protocols — under Art. 185 КУпАП (Malicious disobedience to the lawful order or requirement of the police officer, the member of public formation on protection of a public order and state border, the serviceman).

The National Police urges all citizens to be understanding of the quarantine restrictions and to strictly comply with current legislation.
