A gas station has been set up on foreign territory.
The head of a public organization and a private entrepreneur is suspected of seizing a 0.3 hectare land plot in Odessa and unauthorized construction.
This was reported in the press service of the prosecutor’s office of the Odessa region.
As we learned, one of the defendants in the criminal proceedings is the head of the All-Ukrainian Union of Motorists, a public organization.
In 2018, in the Malinovsky District, he, together with an accomplice, a businessman, set up a gas filling station on a foreign territory without any documents. As it turned out, this land belongs to a private person.
The prosecutor’s office estimated the damage caused by the seizure of the territory at more than a million hryvnia.
Criminal proceedings have been opened under Part 2 of Art. 28, part 2 of Art. 197-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (seizure of a land plot and unauthorized construction). The pre-trial investigation is carried out by the Malinovsky Department of the Odessa Police.
