In Dnipro, officials illegally transferred 1.5 billion hryvnias worth of land to commercial ownership StopCor

In the Dnieper, more than 500 plots of land, with a market value of 1.5 billion hryvnias, were illegally transferred to the ownership of businessmen with the assistance of local government officials.

The press center of Security service of Ukraine reports about it, transfers «UNN».

«Investigators have established the facts of destruction of cultural heritage sites on the territory of the Dnieper and the transfer of sites on which they were located, for commercial development,» — it is spoken in the message.

Law enforcement officers also recorded the allocation of land plots to the defendants who at the time of registration were considered dead according to the register of civil status and other facts of abuse of office by officials of the Dnieper City Council during the removal of land plots from communal ownership.

«During searches within the limits of the begun criminal proceedings registered on signs of the criminal offenses provided by h.4 Art. 190 and part 2 of Article 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, the documentation testifying to illegality of actions of officials during allocation of the land plots, their building is revealed », — noted in SBU.
