The Verkhovna Rada adopted in the second reading the bill «2285-d» On state regulation of activities for the organization and conduct of gambling. 248 deputies voted for the document
In turn, the parliamentary committee on finance and customs policy approved the bill and recommended that the Verkhovna Rada adopt the document.
According to the text of the bill, in Ukraine it is allowed to organize and conduct the following activities in the field of organization and conduct of gambling:
1) organization and conduct of gambling in casino gambling establishments;
2) organization and conduct of casino gambling on the Internet;
3) organization and conduct of bookmaking activities in bookmakers and on the Internet;
4) organization and conduct of gambling in the halls of slot machines;
5) organization and conduct of poker gambling on the Internet.
This activity can be carried out if the business entity has the appropriate license. At the same time, the equipment must be certified and connected to the State system of online monitoring of gambling equipment and the online system of gambling organizers.
In addition, the law prohibits:
1) conduct gambling and place gambling establishments in the temporarily occupied territory;
2) organize and conduct gambling for persons who have not received a license to carry out relevant activities;
3) organize and conduct gambling games that do not meet the requirements of this law, as well as outside gambling establishments (except for gambling games held on the Internet);
4) conduct gambling without the use of the online system of the organizer of gambling, connected through communication channels with the State system of online monitoring;
5) use non-certified gambling equipment for gambling, in cases where the Authorized Body has established a requirement for certification of such equipment.
