One of the deputy chiefs of the Ivan Bohun Kyiv Military Lyceum was suspected of receiving a bribe for entering an educational institution.
The official demanded $ 5,000 from a resident of the capital, and for this amount «guaranteed» the enrollment of her relative to study at the lyceum, according to The browser with reference to the SBU.
Law enforcement officers detained the malefactor in accordance with Art. 208 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of Ukraine in his office during the receipt of part of the bribe in the amount of $ 2.5 thousand.
The detainee was placed in the guardhouse of the Central Department of the Military Law Enforcement Service (in the city of Kyiv and Kyiv region). The issue of notifying him of the suspicion will be resolved in the near future.
