Firtash sued the children of the late People’s Deputy Eremeev for 600 million

The Economic Court of the Volyn region satisfied the claim of PJSC Concern Stirol, owned by oligarch Dmitry Firtash, and decided to recover UAH 598 million from VOG Trading LLC.

According to the court materials, this debt arose on the basis of an agreement on the provision of interest-free financial assistance on a repayable basis. The deadline for the return of financial assistance expired on January 1, 2019, according to Finbalance.

On July 1, 2020, the economic court of the Donetsk region refused to satisfy the claim of VOG Trading against the Concern Stirol for invalidation of the said agreement.

According to the state register, the final beneficiary of Concern Stirol is Dmitry Firtash, and the owners of VOG Trading are Stepan Ivakhiv, Sergei Lagur, Roman and Sofia Eremeeva (children of the late MP Igor Eremeev), who own the Continuum group. — including WOG gas station network).

In 2018, Dmitry Firtash’s Group DF publicly announced its creditor claims to the WOG network for $ 460 million. However, Group DF denied that it was a minority shareholder in WOG.

Firtash received a stake in the network in 2013 as part of the repayment of WOG’s debt to Nadra Bank.
