The International Football Federation (FIFA) has published the official calendar of matches of the World Cup in Qatar. This was reported by the organization’s website.
According to FIFA, the opening match of the tournament will take place on November 21, 2022 at the Al Beit Stadium with a capacity of 60 thousand people, located in the city of El Haur. The match starts at 13:00 local time.
The final match has been confirmed for December 18, 2022 and will take place at the Lusaile Stadium with a capacity of 80,000 people, which is located in the city of the same name. The final meeting will begin at 18:00 local time.
To give the teams time to rest between games, the group round will last 12 days, with four matches scheduled for each.
The matches of the 1/8 final stage will start on December 3. The games will be held almost daily and the tournament will be paused only on days off: on December 7-8, 11-12 and 15-16, the players participating in the playoffs will recover after the matches.
