An official from Kharkiv, exposed to a million bribes, was given twice less bail

«As of July, purchases of 2.6 billion hryvnias have already been made and announced, and the state program has been implemented by 83%,» Krikliy wrote.
He noted that this year a billion more hryvnias were allocated from the state budget for the program to increase the level of road safety than last year — 3.1 billion hryvnias.
According to the official, the program provides for: construction of 7 regulated pedestrian crossings on the first category roads and 20 unregulated ones; installation of 25 Weigh-in-Motion complexes; erection of 25 ring junctions; arrangement of 399 pedestrian crossings and 23 pedestrian crossings of different levels; installation of 180 units of autonomous lighting; elimination of 9 places of concentration of road accidents; installation of 54 damping systems. A total of 1.4 billion hryvnias has been allocated for infrastructure.
Krikliy noted that for the efficiency and effectiveness of rescuers’ actions during the elimination of the consequences of road accidents, appropriate equipment is needed. The state program for 2020 provides for 1.13 billion hryvnias: 47 special emergency rescue vehicles of medium type; 303 medical stacks; 139 special emergency rescue vehicles of light type and 10 vehicles of the Road Safety Service; 14 special emergency rescue vehicles of heavy type
«Funds are also provided for the implementation of a pilot project of a single line» 112 «for all emergency services in Kyiv. In the future, this project will work throughout Ukraine. Such a telephone line has been operating in Europe for a long time. The person just needs to dial one phone number and he gets to the emergency room control center. According to him, 420 million hryvnias have been allocated for supervision and control within the framework of the State Program for Improving Road Safety. These include: 13 sets of mobile scales for weighing trucks; 40 speedometers that work in motion; 30 mobile laboratories for instrumental inspection of the road network and determination of road conditions in the places of road accidents and 30 mobile stations for inspection of the technical condition of vehicles; 220 auto-fixing cameras, for scaling all over Ukraine; 2450 tablets for compiling administrative materials by patrol police.
Crickley also said that the funds were also directed to a comprehensive information protection system for the entire auto-fixation system, which in turn will ensure the inevitability of punishment.

In particular, for emergency driving, training for juvenile prevention police officers who work with children, and acquiring skills of home care, in particular, cardiopulmonary resuscitation and the use of automatic defibrillators, «he added.

Krikliy also draws attention to the fact that the State Agency for Infrastructure Projects in May-June, based on the results of tenders, concluded 14 contracts for the overhaul of transport interchanges throughout Ukraine for a total of UAH 347.62 million.
According to him, on average Ukrinfraproekt saves 13% on construction tenders — and this is three times higher than the tenders of Ukravtodor for the first quarter of 2020.
According to Ukravtodor, over the past six months there have been 72,394 road accidents in which 1482 people have died. Almost two thirds of all car accidents (46.8 thousand) occurred for two reasons: speeding (729 dead) and violation of maneuvering rules (234 dead).
