The Black Sea Rugby Cup will take place on Saturday 8 August.
On Saturday, August 8, the All-Ukrainian Beach Rugby Festival «Black Sea Rugby Cup» will be held at the Odessa Beach Sports Center (14th station of the Big Fountain).
Given the situation with the coronavirus pandemic, many teams that planned to participate in the tournament (in particular, half a dozen rugby teams from neighboring Moldova) will not be able to reach Odessa, unfortunately, but it is gratifying that even under the current circumstances, for the Black Sea Beach Cup rugby will be fought not only by residents of Odessa, but also by guests from Kiev, Lvov, Nikolaev and Khmelnitsky.
As part of the Black Sea Rugby Cup, there will be separate competitions among men (eight teams divided into two groups, including Odessa CREDO-1963, Odessa Rugby Brotherhood and Sailors), among girls (two teams of Odessa ) and among pupils of children’s and youth schools (three age categories, each of which will represent Odessa schools «Leaders» and «Anatra»).
The organizers of the tournament promise excellent musical accompaniment, contests, performance of the «Flame» cheerleader group and a bright awards ceremony.
