Ablyamitov was arrested for two months
In the Russian-occupied Crimea, 25-year-old Mejit Ablyamitov, detained by the FSB, was detained for two months.
The brother of the detainee Adler Ablyamitov reported about it, transfers referring to «Crimean solidarity».
Mejit will remain behind bars until October 17, 2020.
It is noted that the «court hearing» took place in public, but except for relatives, the occupiers did not let anyone into the hall.
Ablyamitov was charged with a crime punishable by up to fifteen years in prison.
The occupiers claim that in 2016 the Crimean left for the mainland of Ukraine and joined the N. Chelebidzhikhan Battalion.
For reference, the Noman Chelebidzhikhan Battalion is a voluntary Crimean Tatar armed formation. Its creation began in 2016 during the blockade on the administrative border with the occupied Crimea.
Named after Noman Chelebidzhikhan — Crimean Tatar politician and public figure of the beginning. Twentieth century, the first head of the government of the Crimean People’s Republic, the organizer of the I Kurultay of the Crimean Tatar people, the first mufti of the Muslims of Crimea, Lithuania, Poland, Belarus.
Officially, this battalion was never created. However, Russian special services are persecuting Crimeans for allegedly participating in this organization.
