A young miner died in Lviv region
On August 20, investigators — detectives of the Investigative Department of the GUNP in Vinnytsia region announced the suspicion of two employees of the Department of Ukrtransbezpeky in Vinnytsia and Khmelnytsky regions and the carrier in committing crimes during the transportation.
This was reported by the Communications Department of the Vinnytsia region police, reports .
«The carrier and an employee of the Department of Ukrtransbezpeky in Vinnytsia region are suspected of providing illegal benefits to an official under Part 3 of Art. 369 of the Criminal code of Ukraine. An employee of the Ukrtransbezpeky Department in the Khmelnytsky Region — receiving an illegal benefit under Part 1 of Art. 368 of the Criminal code of Ukraine. Operational support in criminal proceedings is provided by employees of the Strategic Investigations Department in Vinnytsia Oblast. The police conducted searches at the place of residence of the suspects, in vehicles, during which they confiscated money, mobile phones, documents, «draft» records confirming the criminal activities of the latter, « — it is said in the message.
According to Ivan Ishchenko, head of the Vinnytsia Oblast GUNP, the investigation reasonably suspects Ukrtransbezpeky officials of the two oblasts and a private entrepreneur of organizing a criminal scheme.
The pre-trial investigation established that during 2020 the director of a private enterprise engaged in freight transportation to Khmelnytsky region, acting under a preliminary agreement with an employee of the Ukrtransbezpeky department in Vinnytsia region, illegally benefited an employee of the Ukrtransbezpeky department in Khmelnytsky region.
Vehicles were loaded with construction materials above the established permissible norm, outside the dimensional and weight control. At the same time, the money was given as an illegal benefit to an official of the Ukrtransbezpeky Department in Khmelnytsky Oblast by transfer to a bank card.
The issue of choosing a precautionary measure for the suspects is being resolved.
