A Turkish-Russian convoy was attacked in Syria

The criminals were detained by employees of the Tetiiv police department while making another batch of drugs. During the search, police seized about 18 kilograms of amphetamine and 25 liters of precursors.

In the village of Horoshkiv, Tetiiv district, the suspects set up an underground drug laboratory for the production of a psychotropic substance.

During an authorized search, police seized about 18 kg of amphetamine and 25 liters of precursors.

A variety of laboratory equipment was also found at the scene: a freezer, about 640 liters of clear liquid, 4 barrels, a fan and 2 chemical reactors for the production of drugs.

The attackers were detained in accordance with Art. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
They turned out to be residents of Cherkasy region — a 34-year-old woman and a 32-year-old man who had previously been convicted of drug possession.

The seized material evidence was sent for appropriate examinations.

The police are conducting pre-trial investigations in the framework of criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Art. 307 (Illegal production, manufacture, acquisition, storage, transportation, shipment or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues) and Part 3 of Art. 313 (Theft, misappropriation, extortion of equipment intended for the manufacture of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues, or taking it by fraud or abuse of office and other illegal actions with such equipment) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The defendants were informed about the suspicion of committing these crimes. A petition has been filed with the court for the offenders to be remanded in custody. The investigation is ongoing.
