At one time, Romaniuk worked in various consulting and law firms, as well as an investment manager at UkraineInvest. In 2015-2016, he was responsible for investments in the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration. During this period, the German company LEONI entered the region and built a plant for the production of car parts in Kolomyia.

In September 2004, Romaniuk was a first-year student. During a visit to Ivano-Frankivsk, presidential candidate and Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych threw an egg at him. He himself called his action an attempt to «spoil the picture in the media», which assured the support of Yanukovych by young people in the Carpathians. At the same time, he noted that he did not consider such methods «problem-solving tools» and «effective», and that the country should be changed by systemic steps.
